Tachibana

Can you count to ten? because that's how many times I have dined at Tachibana this past year alone. I can recall one week when I went to Tachibana 3 days in a row, and I did not get sick of it one bit. I consider myself a sushi enthusiast (or wannabe connoisseur) and have been around the block a few times, and with high confidence I can say that this is the best sushi place in Northern Virginia (of those I have been to. Please feel free to disagree. Don't mean no harm).

Sashimi is always fresh and I also love their dishes that contain no raw fish. No dish from Tachibana has never let me down, and as we all know the consistency of food says a lot about the restaurant. Waitresses always know when to refill my tea cup and I was even offered free dessert a few times because that was their special for the day. At my last visit I spent $100 between me and my friend. Not quite sure why or how, all I know is I ate the whole thing.

It makes my mouth water as I write about this wonderful sushi restaurant that is Tachibana. I will be returning sometime soon... perhaps tomorrow for dinner? Who knows..

Pictures!

Sea urchin, sweet shrimp, and giant clam. AMAZING

Sashimi.. as fresh as it could get!

Their bento boxes are great!

Green Tea ice cream. My favorite!

Check: $100 for two (it doesn't have to be this way. Again with gluttony, I just eat a lot of food)
Rating: Ten fingers up and dancing

Happy Eating!
